more important than the imitation or it’s fish catching capabilities, being able to pronounce this tongue-twisting bug’s name makes anyone cooler than cool and a highest of highly respected angler, the kind they bow to when you arrive on the stream and give you their spot and hot coffee and jelly donuts.
“Tying 2 different variants of a Leptophlebia Vespertina.
Superfly in the early season for trout!
Like cookies for a fat kid!”
Jon’s comment says it all. enjoy !
Nice one Marc!
Those are really nice. I still can’t say the name so I’ll just call them LV Cdc’s and take a seat in the uncool corner.
haha ! it just takes a little practice, that’s all… 😉
Cool tailing Marc, like a lot

i think we have a Leptophlebia Submarginata over here Marc, a dark brown size 12 stuff. Its hatching early season when the water is high during the spring run off and the river usualy is no good for floating flies fishing , but if a coffee and donuts are at stake Im learning Latin:-)
